I knew this was happening for tv shows where companies like Reelz and a few others have an entire business models of targeting the “boss babes” into getting hooked. But the chapters of a book scheme is this same thing on steroids.

Women really get mentally raped by these micro- transaction pitches whether it’s for tv shows or books (buying chapters for 5 bucks). They get hooked on “oh this is only 3-5 dollars for credits that I can use to purchase the show/chapters” months later they’ve spend thousands.
