HOW I LOST 12 ETH IN 6 HOURS

Been meaning to write this for a while. Finally doing it.

Back in april everyone was shilling @PetalsFarmETH Instead of just aping in i decided to actually read the contract with Claude.

Here's what i found: 47% of every single buy in the project was going to 0x00000000. A null address. Unclaimed. The frontend auto-assigns it to every wallet that joins without a ref link. Whoever claims it gets 25% of every one of those transactions.

I'm not a developer. But me and Claude wrote a Rust grinder, found the right address in 3 minutes, and deployed a contract for 0.003 ETH. That's it. The ref slot was mine. No more investment after that.

3 days later — 2.2 ETH from the ref slot. Top 4 in petals on the entire platform with a few dollars deposited while others had 0.5–4 ETH in. Invisible on the leaderboard. Nobody suspected a thing.

Now the painful part.

The project launched while i wasn't home. First 6 hours — peak hype, maximum traffic — all of it flowing into 0x00000000 with no owner. Into the void.

I didn't lose that money. I just didn't pick it up. It was sitting there waiting. And i wasn't home.

While everyone was arguing about whether to ape — you just needed to read the contract.
Vibe coding opens up a lot of doors. Learn it. Don't stop.
