@lightspeed102 @yearnerwillow I don't think so, this drama is serious and I'm sure that person should understand what he should do instead of doing something immature here.
"they're a minor!"
alright let me speak to their legal-guardian so I can let them know their minor is being an asshole online
"you have umpteen followers!!"
your small amount of followers doesn't exempt you from the repercussions of saying stupid stuff online, nor does my "larger" number exempt you from hearing my opinion of your saying stupid stuff online - also, I think it's a nice learning experience for the people who do follow me, to see what kind of behavior, the behavior I called out, is actually inappropriate
"it's just a joke, I was just kidding! It's a popular meme!"
do you just go around saying whatever everyone else is saying online or do you stop to think for yourself whether it's a healthy thing to continue repeating, specifically when using it within the contexts of specific situations that are not a joke
"You're a grown man!!"
and this grown man is tired of your shenanigans, please find your older adult and check in with them as soon as possible
"you've sent your followers to harass them!"
well no, I didn't - I don't condone harassment, which is why I made the previous PSA tweet about the death threat to begin with because that's harassment, and it was completely unnecessary
Having said that, if you have made it this far in today's reading, congratulations! You did it! Most of the people I've met on the internet are pretty great. If you are reading this right now, you yourself are probably pretty great. We all agree that we dislike when bad shit happens to people, especially the people we know and love - so why would WE ourselves, do that? Let's try to be good to each other.
It's really easy to be nice; for some, takes a little bit of extra effort. I'm tired of hearing people talk about fake niceness - no, I'm actively CHOOSING to be nice. If you're being rude/disrespectful, that is what YOU are choosing to do. Only YOU are in control of your behavior and how you treat other people, not the people around you.
If you think it's "creepy" that someone is being nice, I think that says more about you than it does about the person being nice. Being nice doesn't have to have an ulterior motive. Unfortunately, the internet has taught us to look at someone being nice as someone who is trying to take advantage of you for some reason. No. Actually, nice people DO exist, truly. Outside of this fake online internet world, real people actually exist away from the screen that are amazing and good people. You're just to glued to the screen to see it, and it's sad. Step away for awhile and take a break - you need it.
@ftfrexytruther What if you were the one receiving death threats? The fact that MiniToon hasn't been confirmed as a pedophile, but people doing things like this, only makes matters worse. (I'm only trying to be objective here)
I ask everyone to please stop giving this person anymore attention on her tweets from now on as it’s become increasingly obvious that she has nothing constructive to offer and is only here to make the situation deliberately worse!
Same goes with tweets from Catopsis, Avid, etc
@DaRealMrFreddy@ostiestar His account name doesn't need to be censored, he's an adult, and I think he's ready to take all the risks he's taken for what he's done here.
This drama and all is crazy but making a death threat. IS. TO. FAR.
Nobody and i mean NOBODY should make death threats on other people, we all are humans and people like Sylvia should not make death threats on others. What this drama has turned into is going TO far.
@BSlickComposer This person tweets more than I do and Twitter isn’t even their job. It’s clear some of these people are so chronically online that they’ve lost grasp of any attachment to the real world and reality and all they know is Twitter. They need to go offline and get professional help.
You’ve crossed a line when you start talking about people dying - I don’t care if you “didn’t actually mean that”; your HEART means that. You have a heart problem.
Minitoon being burned for (supposedly) being a Gr00mer
Ostie being damaged by Moon and Minitoon...
Elypssya being fired for being r@cist
Damn bro...
You don't want any of Piggy fans to stay here any longer, Right?...
The whole Ostie situation should have been handled differently, aka privately. In my personal opinion this situation was created because a lack of boundaries and proper communication, because of Mini and Moon’s fault. Now I don’t want to completely villainize them since…
Making this a separate post because I feel like it's a great reminder for everybody who uses the internet:
I'm a firm believer that with all of us being directly connected, we forget that people on the other side of the screen speak different languages, grow up in different houses and regions, and have different experiences and past traumas, and that causes us to have difficulties explaining ourselves clearly to each other, leading to arguments and misunderstandings, and future events that could've been avoided if we just gave each other a little bit of grace ♥️
@RealFunGame I was studying History and Politics since the old days, I'm always catch up a brand new geopolitical news from around the world. For Christian Theology, my mom were teaching me all the time, except for philosophy, it's not even a year since I'm first dive into it.
This is the only thing I'm going to say about the piggy community.
I see people saying 'kill the piggy fandom', and that's fine. But you can't expect everyone to leave and get over this so easily.
Especially devs, some of us are so inspired that we learnt a whole new skill,-
@xinophen The fact that it's not just MiniToon got exposed, but almost every Piggy's Developer (even who already quit) is just making the drama worse. It's not even the right choice to expose them at once.
hot(?) take but the people who laugh at minitoon for “not hiding being a pred well” and putting like try not to laugh images are as bad if not a little worse than the people who undermine the mental anguish being groomed even 10 years after
