It moves me deeply to share that, from our health camps in Diamond Harbour, we have referred 11 citizens to the Renuka Eye Institute, where they underwent life-changing cataract surgeries.

Emerging from the shadows of age's veil, they now embrace the world with renewed clarity, their eyes alight with boundless gratitude and the exhilaration of rebirth. Each story is a poignant reminder of the power of compassion to restore not just sight, but hope itself.

Our pledge to good health for every soul remains etched in stone, an unbreakable vow to uplift, to heal, and to unite. Together, let us carry this mission forward, illuminating Bengal's path with empathy and equity.

I am profoundly shocked and saddened by the tragic and untimely demise of Shri Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra in the devastating plane crash at Baramati.

Each successful procedure signifies far more than clinical excellence; it restores independence, confidence, and the quiet dignity that clear vision lends to everyday life.

Moments such as these reveal the transformative potential of compassionate, service-driven healthcare, where every intervention is thoughtful, precise, and guided by empathy rather than expediency.

Day 8 of Sebaashray 2 began in Metiaburuz with renewed purpose and an energy that mirrored the community’s unmistakable enthusiasm for accessible and dignified healthcare.

Even on its very first day, Metiaburuz revealed a remarkable spirit of participation. What stood out was not merely the scale but the preparedness of Metiaburuz to embrace this mission. People did not arrive in hesitation or doubt; they came with expectation, with trust, and with the quiet assurance that Sebaashray fulfilled what it pledged, a structure of care that was organised, compassionate, and immediate.

As Sebaashray 2 inaugurated its chapter in Metiaburuz, it carried with it the discipline of the past week and began composing a renewed spirit of public health, one anchored in efficiency, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to every citizen’s well-being.

The Election Commission is deliberately planting selective leaks to falsely claim that they have provided a point-by-point rebuttal to the issues raised by the AITC delegation today. These assertions are not just misleading, they are OUTRIGHT LIES. If the EC truly has nothing to hide and actually believes in transparency, then instead of hiding behind motivated leaks, it must immediately release the full CCTV footage and every piece of evidence it claims to possess. Anything less only exposes their bad faith and raises serious questions about their intent.

And let me add this clearly: A few hours will always be too short , take as many days as you want to answer the five basic questions we placed before you.

We have ENOUGH DIGITAL EVIDENCE to prove how your narrative is being distorted through planted, fabricated leaks. So THINK TWICE before you choose to pick a fight with West Bengal and @AITCofficial .

Another crushing defeat for the BOHIRAGOTO BANGLA-BIRODHI ZAMINDARS.

The Hon’ble Supreme Court today dismissed the Central Government’s plea challenging the Calcutta High Court’s order directing the resumption of MGNREGA in Bengal. This is a HISTORIC VICTORY for the people of Bengal, who refused to bow down before Delhi’s ARROGANCE and INJUSTICE.

When they failed to defeat us politically, BJP weaponised deprivation. They imposed an ECONOMIC BLOCKADE on Bengal, snatching away the wages of the poor and punishing the people for standing by Maa, Mati, Manush. But Bengal does not yield. We promised to fight for every rightful rupee, every honest worker, every silenced voice.

Today’s verdict is a democratic slap on the face of those who believed Bengal could be bullied, coerced, or silenced. BJP’s arrogance has met its reckoning. They seek power without accountability. They take from Bengal, yet refuse to return her dues. But now, they've been defeated in PEOPLE'S VOTE, and in the SUPREME COURT.

“Amader Para Amader Samadhan” (APAS) is a unique flagship initiative aimed at institutionalizing participatory governance and re-imagining grassroots service delivery through people-engagement and empowerment.

APAS camp is a platform where local people shall deliberate, identify and prioritize their local level infrastructure needs.

Rs. 8,000+ Crores is the outlay for APAS with Rs. 10 Lakhs allocated per booth and 80,000+ polling booths being covered by 27,000+ camps.

Today, on the first day of “Amader Para Amader Samadhan” (APAS) 632 camps are being held across the State.

Duare Sarkar counters have also been set up in APAS Camps.

I invite the people to visit their camps and participate in the discussions to make APAS a grand success.

Stunned and profoundly shocked to know of the most tragic Air India plane crash at Ahmedabad today. It is a most sad news for all of us, even while we anxiously wait for survivors details and pray for survival of all.

The crash during take- off of the London- bound plane has shaken and saddened me at my core. While we do not know exact figures, media reports indicate that there were 242 passengers in the plane. I am praying to God at this moment.

Over the past few days, I have been closely following the conduct of the mainstream media and those at the helm of Union Govt. Instead of deeply investigating the lapses that led to this unprecedented terror attack in PAHALGAM, they seem more focused on pushing a narrative that benefits a particular political party. It’s time we rise above such petty politics and confront this issue decisively, once and for all. This is not the moment for more surgical strikes or symbolic threats to Pakistan. It’s time to TEACH THEM A LESSON in the language they understand. It’s time to RECLAIM Pakistan Occupied KASHMIR (PoK). Period.

Today’s terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir is not only unfortunate and horrifying but it must serve as a clarion call for the GoI.

This is the same government that claimed demonetisation would end black money and terror funding and that the abrogation of Article 370 would bring lasting peace to the region. Yet, today’s tragic incident stands as a stark reminder of the failure of these promises, policies and propaganda.

My heart goes out to the families of those who lost their lives in this tragic incident. I pray that God grants them strength and comfort in this time of immense grief. Wishing a speedy and complete recovery to all who are injured.

Today, three elderly patients underwent operations at Renuka Eye Institute, reclaiming not only their vision but also their INDEPENDENCE and CONFIDENCE.

This initiative underscores the PROFOUND IMPACT OF ACCESSIBLE HEALTHCARE and the UNYIELDING COMMITMENT to serve the people of Diamond Harbour. Each restored vision represents a promise kept – a tangible reminder of the BRIGHTER FUTURE WE ARE STRIVING TO BUILD for those who entrust us with their care.

In 2020, the world faced an unprecedented pandemic outbreak that left a trail of death and destruction. Along the way, it taught us a very important lesson: "A stitch in time saves nine!"

With initiatives like 'Doctors on Wheels,' 'Vaccination on Wheels,' and the 'Rapid Antigen Testing Drive,' Diamond Harbour has cemented its reputation as a MODEL CONSTITUENCY for healthcare service delivery. These efforts also provided an opportunity to reach the grassroot levels and deliver medical services to the LAST MILE, and we’ve successfully done just that!

For the first time since the launch of #Sebaashray, the footfall at the 41 health camps across the Diamond Harbour Assembly Constituency has surpassed the 20,000 mark, benefitting 22,907 people. Among them:
🔬 9,895 diagnostic tests were conducted
💊 9,416 individuals received free medications
🏥 337 patients were referred to specialty hospitals for critical care

A new chapter is being written on how a single parliamentary constituency can lead a healthcare revolution. More success and greater milestones are on the horizon!
