Since Dark Phoenix is over-emphasized, here is a thread of Jean doing tremendous good with her Phoenix powers
Part 1: Jean saves the universe from the neutron galaxy within the M’Kraan Crystal, Uncanny X-Men #108 and added Classic X-Men material. #xspoilers#xmen#jeangrey
if Sadie is Jean I’ve been trying to think what the hell she’ll wear in secret wars and considering there’s still no X-Men I can see her getting something like Jeans look in UW. Think it’d perfectly work! Either color works, has no ties to xmen and has no Phoenix symbol 🤷♀️
I had followed that account back after they followed me. I had not seen their post until this account posted about it. This is a weird guilt by association post. Most Jean fans condemn racism and bigotry.
I feel like this also extends to being a fan of powerful female superhero’s. Male comic fans will always push that you only like these female characters for superficial reasons (bcs their powerful) meanwhile they only love their powerful male superheroes in a deep way
[2/2] Now I’m not saying there isn’t some crazy Jean stans bcs there is. Just infuriating that Jean fans quickly get dismissed bcs they speak up. A whole double standard and yes also misogyny ⬇️
While I hate power scaling and the whole aspect of comparing sales, I find it very frustrating that if Jean fans simply talk about Jeans influence on other female characters and how some have cribbed aspects of her we get categorized as unhinged stans. [1/2]
If any of my friends on here are even on the fence of seeing Masters of the Universe, please let me know so I can pull you over. It's a sincere, ernest, fun film that needs all the help that it can possibly get.
Especially my Gen X friends who grew up with the 80s cartoon and movie you NEED to see this one! (and bring your friends)
Sorry, but y’all will never pin me as a Storm hater or with her detractors, because even when I wasn’t enjoying parts of her book I was still reading and buying it each release. More than I can say about many.
