Through this partnership, Arco will support the distribution of DigiFT's regulated products to qualified institutional and onchain allocators in South Korea, including tokenized U.S. Treasuries, money market funds, private credit and fixed income.

Korea's unique liquidity and asset base make it a natural fit for the global RWA landscape and I believe the Ethereum ecosystem will be the axis where this takes shape.

Hong Kong × Korea will be at the center of the onchain market. And that center will be Ethereum.

This is Jiwon from the 2026 XRP Las Vegas X-Pitch.

After winning the pitch competition at the heart of the XRP community, I’m excited to come back and share our progress.

Our product, formerly known as RLturn, has now been rebranded as Arco.

Arco is a licensed tokenization and RWA distribution platform. We help retail crypto holders access institutional-grade RWA products, while helping institutions distribute their tokenized assets into DeFi protocols, Layer 1 ecosystems, and on-chain capital markets.

We recently acquired a Hong Kong VA Type 1 license, which allows us to build with stronger compliance and better serve institutional partners.

Asia is still early in DeFi adoption. Korea and Japan retail investors hold around $60B in crypto assets, but much of that capital is sitting idle with little to no yield. At the same time, institutions still struggle to find the right on-chain channel to launch and distribute RWA products.

Arco is here to bridge that gap.

We connect retail crypto capital, institutional RWA products, and DeFi distribution.

<이더리움 내 새로운 경쟁 시작. LayerN 왜 필요한가?>

@LayerN_Official 은 롤업을 위한 Execution Layer를 개발 중입니다. 그 필요성을 이해하려면 블록체인의 역사를 살펴볼 필요가 있습니다. 블록체인 기술의 발전은 '트릴레마' 개념에서 출발했습니다. 여기서 목표는 탈중앙화, 보안성, 확장성 중 일부를 어느 정도 희생하면서도 최고의 성능을 달성하는 것이었습니다.

크립토키티 사건 이후로 이더리움의 한계를 실감하기 시작했고, 플라즈마부터 사이드체인, 옵티미스틱 롤업에 이르기까지 속도를 개선하기 위한 여러 시도가 이루어졌지만, 여전히 만족스러운 결과를 얻지 못했습니다.

이더리움의 EVM 한계를 극복하기 위해 Rust나 Move와 같은 고급 언어를 사용한 새로운 VM 개발이 시작되었고, 솔라나, 수이, 앱토스 등이 시장에 등장하여 이더리움과 경쟁하기 시작했습니다.

이더리움 커뮤니티는 기존 네트워크의 한계를 극복하기 위해 Execution, Settlement, Consensus, DA를 분리하여 성능을 향상시키기 시작했습니다. 이러한 접근 방식을 모듈식 블록체인이라고 합니다.

예를 들어, 셀레스티아의 합의 및 DA를 활용하거나, 자체 체인에 아이겐DA를 도입하여 이더리움의 DA보다 저렴하면서도 더 높은 속도를 달성할 수 있게 되었습니다. 이는 마치 제네시스 자동차에 튜닝을 가하는 것과 같습니다. 결국, 개발자들은 원하는 방식으로 네트워크를 튜닝하여 빠른 네트워크를 출시할 수 있게 되었고, 레이어2의 전성기를 맞이했습니다.

레이어2가 다양해지고 덴쿤 업그레이드로 인해 레이어1의 가스비 부담이 줄어들면서 레이어2로의 트래픽이 증가하기 시작했습니다. Base 레이어2에서 밈 코인이나 NFT 거래로 인한 가스비 상승과 네트워크 오류 등의 문제가 발생하기도 했습니다.

DA를 통해 속도를 향상시켰지만, VM이라는 엔진이 따라오지 못하는 상황에 이르렀고, 결국 Execution Layer가 병목 현상을 일으키게 되었습니다. BMW M시리즈 엔진처럼 최고의 성능을 내지 못한다면, 아무리 튜닝을 해도 차량의 성능이 떨어질 수밖에 없는 이치와 비슷해 진것입니다.

이제, @hodl_gap이 언급한 것처럼, Execution Layer의 성능을 향상시키기 위한 새로운 경쟁의 시대로 접어들었습니다. 이 경쟁에서@LayerN_Official 은 EVM보다 10배 이상 빠른 성능을 제공하기 위해 XVM (NordVM 등)와 엔진을 입맛에 맞게 바꿀 수 있는 GVM을 개발하고 있습니다.

흥미로운 점은 최근 인기를 끌고 있는 Monad가 구식 EVM을 솔라나와 같은 병렬 처리 방식으로 해결하려고 시도하는 반면, LayerN은 새로운 VM을 통해 도전장을 내밀고 있다는 것입니다. BMW M시리즈 엔진이 더 나을지, 아니면 터보가 달린 현대 엔진이 더 나을지는 각자의 판단에 달려 있습니다. 각각의 장단점이 있기 때문입니다.

결국, @LayerN_Official도 Monad와 유사한 문제를 해결하려는 프로젝트라고 볼 수 있으며, 테스트넷이 금일 출시되었으니 초기 기여자로 참여하여 이득을 보는 것도 좋을 것 같습니다.
