Prisoners should be protected by the same labor laws that protect the citizens of their chosen state of residence at the time of arrest. Minimum wage, overtime pay, safety regulations, breaks, time off, etc.

@ZacksJerryRig I used to be that way, then I stopped fighting my body. For 2 years I've eaten one meal, around lunch. I only eat refined carbs with that meal and never have cravings. If I feel like a snack in the evening I go low net carbs like nuts or cheese.

@pego99 @SenSanders Corporations already charge as much as they can, and constantly push to find new ways to raise prices. If consumers think a new law will increase prices, they'll grudgingly pay more, so prices will go up. In effect, people like you are key parts of the mechanism.

@BernieSanders Checks and balances, like unions, are important. I believe we should also empower people to start truly employee owned companies, where permanent by-laws make ownership directly proportional to labor invested.

FYI - Removing Special Offers dramatically reduced battery rundown on my idle Kindle Oasis, even with WiFi on. If you often put your Kindle on a shelf and don't use it for a while, only to find that the battery is almost dead when you turn it on, I highly recommend trying it.
