Is the CS scene really into AI slop or is this just James Banks running solo?
Cause when I tell you this is the sloppiest of slop, this is some Facebook boomer level dogshit and I cannot believe one of the biggest names in esports is giving it props.
@followdusT We got smacked around in 2023 as well when we decided to play online tournaments.. people are playing crazy online. Once we met them on lan again they played scared as fuck. Online CS is fucking wild and i‘m happy we never really had to play it, I remember fucking sl1m3 owning us
Billy, this is blameF, he is a former HLTV Top 20 rifler who can entry, lurk, defend, and secondary call. He hard carried Fnatic to 2 Majors and Astralis to a Cologne playoffs with b0rup. His only defect is that he is jacked and redditors hate him for that
The outcome I wanted to wake up to!
fnatic and NIP got a lot of stick from Sweden but you could see the tide changing in their latest intl lineups
Both reinvested, made great signings, and thoroughly deserve to be back at a Major
Tier 4 "pro" who won over 90% of his prize money in region locked (Danish/Nordic) tournaments fails to see irony in saying women don't deserve spaces to play
Room temp IQ misogyny is really the easiest to laugh at
What do EU 🇪🇺 teams need to occur for their VRS and Major hopes.
Take with a pinch of salt as this could end up as very thin margins.
Down to the wire.
a lot of misconceptions on how swing works so i thought i'd do an article on how we think about 'impact'
these are the best players so far this year for swing added relative to their kill count - a good proxy for players with high quality (if not quantity) of kills
Things like this raise the question of why NiP were allowed to signup for Birch Cup then dropout with less than a week to go when it was convenient for them to avoid potentially losing points.
Bracket should have been drawn and either play or forfeit. Can't be having teams shotgunning signups across all these events just to drop out last minute constantly.
If you make a commitment you should have to stick to it or we will just see teams signup for everything, TO's then go sell sponsors based on X Y Z teams attending only to then end up with A B C teams and potentially ruin relationships and future commercial value they need to survive.
I'm sure things will ease up soon but we are getting a good blueprint of issues we need to be proactive in fixing rather than reactive.
CT meta = best meta
Star player pop off rounds are more likely on CT and significantly more meaningful on T + great IGLs/coaches shine
T metas are fkn lame
Guys for the future disable the "Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views" and your game and PC won't be dying from shift+tabbing anymore. It is located under steam -> settings -> interface and this screen. Have fun!
Hey. I have created and published (FOR FREE) blueprint for teams to help them improve. A lot of teams struggle with building stratbook / playbook and track simple things that help you stay organized.
Its main purpose is to track your tactics, but it has more features -
This does beg the question why didn't he move over in the first place.
Unless the buyout price came down, there was no need to waste money on Burmylov when this could've happened in January.
There is a pretty major flaw in the way Valve (and HLTV?) are calcualating the VRS with regards to on-going events (in todays case, Katowice) which has been going on for months but since today is a major invite cut-off it's more relevent than ever.
On a very basic level - teams who are knocked out of an on-going tournament (Katowice) have the full value f.ex prize money, of attending counting towards their ranking as of 3rd February.
Teams who are not eliminated - do not. This in theory could lead to teams overtaking others due to being eliminated and gaining the full value of the event - vs teams who are still in the tournament who haven't gained that value.
