This tweet struck a chord with me, and while I don't often get personal on the Tweeters, given the point made here, I feel it's important. So here we go. Happy #pridemonth. https://t.co/LzkAieFT2h
Confession: When I was younger, I never really bought into the idea of "pride."
You can buy ground beef already cooked and drained at Walmart for 10 cents more per pound than the raw ground beef which you have to then cook yourself. $6.74 vs $6.84. Sounds like a no-brainer.
Not buying the hand-wringing about the Lindsey Graham thing because "he isn't here to defend himself"
People who seek positions of enormous power and influence are not entitled to the sanitized legacy they'd give you.
They should be remembered for who they really were.
Vivek Ramaswamy is a terrible candidate for many good reasons, including his recent decisions but it is very funny that “loves tennis” is so foregrounded as an insult in this attack ad against him.
"I don't want to he in the hospitality business I just want to make quick easy cash *pretending* to be in the hospitality business" is not the sympathetic argument airbnb hosts seem to think it is.
its just bonkers the new policy @airbnb is trying to put in place. Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, taking out the trash, pulling the sheets off the bed....they are just standard things any normal person would do when staying at a house. Why wouldn't a host be allowed to say that?
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence.

At some point he needs to be arrested for malicious damage to property.
He is destroying the image of these brands, but the brand owners are not realizing this yet.
JUST IN: UK police arrest 15 y/o boy, seize his devices, & collect his DNA after he posted photo of a local politician edited to look like a rabbit.
And yet you refuse to remove cameras when cities cancel their contracts so you can continue surveiling communities against their express wishes.
If you learned anything, it certainly isn't what you ought to have learned.
You and @flocksafety are malignant to the core.
I've learned a lot in nine years of building @Flock_Safety. Some of it from our customers, and some of it from the communities they serve.
Today we’re announcing the changes that came from listening. A new standard for privacy, security, and accountability in public safety technology.
We're also asking state legislators to go further. Mandate real auditing on every law enforcement data system. Raise the penalties for misuse. And if your state wants help building it, we'll do it for free.

@TechFreedom@protctdemocracy And in March, we led a similarly large coalition writing to Carr to address his abuse of the "public interest" standard, calling out his jawboning and reminding him that he has no authority to subject broadcast content to the whims of the administration: https://t.co/t3P9f2hqJi
The latest in Carr's ongoing effort to exert government control over political information & discourse.
Today, former FCC officials issued a statement (supported by @TechFreedom & @protctdemocracy) calling his latest threat "a direct attack on free and fair elections."

During this election season, there has been a significant surge in entirely Fake Polls and Suppression Polls designed to do nothing more than interfere with the regular functioning of the electoral process and alter the normal patterns of voter turnout and enthusiasm.
Many journalists and broadcasters have been amplifying or airing these Polls without regard to basic journalistic ethics and without informing the public that those Polls lack a scientific, accurate, or even real basis.
The FCC takes these issues seriously. Broadcasters are prohibited by the terms of their federal licenses from engaging in News Distortion or promoting Broadcast Hoaxes. It is important that broadcasters comply with their public interest obligations. After all, the country benefits greatly when Americans can trust and rely on the media to report the news fairly and accurately.
Broadcasters are advised to avoid engaging in News Distortions or running Broadcast Hoaxes by airing Polls that would violate their regulatory obligations. If broadcasters believe they should provide their viewers with additional context and information about Polls they have covered, they can now take those actions consistent with FCC regulations.
@TechFreedom@protctdemocracy In July, joined by 50 scholars of First Amendment, communications, and technology law and civil liberties organizations, we filed reply comments explaining that the FCC's broad reinterpretation of the Equal Time Rule violates the First Amendment: https://t.co/MKNQzQaHDy
Reminder that the White House Counsel's Office represents the institution, not any individual.
And the Office of the President cannot be defamed or otherwise similarly tortfeased. Scharf had no business making this preposterous threat.
The White House counsel's office warned Politico in a Monday letter that it had 48 hours to retract or correct recent stories revolving around COS Susie Wiles — or it would suffer unspecified consequences.
