Houston's road gridโฆ but make it clouds. The satellite imagery from Tue morning was genuinely something I've never seen before. So my producer @monsoonchaser and I took a stab at explaining it #wxtwitter
@collinmyerswx@WxFront@aguacero I'm using it as the modern version of GRearth, haven't messed with models too much yet but the look of radar/currents/alerts/etc is superb
Really impressed with @WxFront after about an hour of using the desktop version. Impressively clean, user friendly, and functional. Was super easy to figure everything out. @aguacero has a deeper interface and more customizable but a bit tougher to become proficient. Both incredible programs that have their use for now. I never thought I'd see the day that GREarth was put to shame.. it's a great time to be a met. Kudos to all the developers!
I think ppl need to understand that @RadarScope was always meant to be a radar app. As much as I'm using @wxfront, @aguacerowx, and GREarth, my go-tos for pure L2 radar are still RS (mobile) and GR2 (desktop). Maybe that'll change but RS didn't fall behind.. it's its own thing
โ๏ธ HAIL SLAMS DENVER: As severe weather continues to impact Denver and the surrounding areas, the city was hit with a massive hail storm today. This video from the LoDo neighborhood shows just how fast this storm developed.
Some of the highest StormNet damaging wind probabilities I've seen!
High confidence in damaging winds around 3pm to 4pm CT across Central Alabama. #alwx
