BREAKING: Iran is now warning the U.S. against attacking Iran both before and after the November midterm elections, with Major General Ali Abdollahi saying any American action, “independently or at the instigation of Israel,” will be met with an immediate, powerful and painful strike on U.S. interests “without any restrictions,” per Iranian state media.

Abdollahi said the response would come “before or after the elections, regardless of the outcome,” warning that if Washington takes action against Iran, “the fire will consume everyone.” He said Iran’s armed forces had already demonstrated this during the previous conflict.

The warning comes directly after Donald Trump told TIME that renewed large scale bombing of Iran after the midterms is “possible,” while Washington continues building military forces around the region.

Abdollahi also accused the IAEA of using claims about Iran’s nuclear program to create grounds for another war, warning that any renewed conflict would trigger an unrestricted Iranian response.

BREAKING: The US is sending more troops and aircraft to Israel in the coming weeks as part of preparations for an escalation in the Middle East, with around 3,000 US troops already stationed across Israel, per security sources to Walla.

Israeli defense officials say the IDF is preparing for another confrontation with Iran and coordinating closely with the US against a surprise Iranian missile attack on Israel and Jordan.

It comes on top of the nearly 10,000 troops, including 2,000 US Marines heading to the Middle East aboard a third US aircraft carrier and an amphibious landing group, arriving by November.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Iran would have no oil shipments at sea this week and no associated revenues as Washington intensifies what he described as an unprecedented campaign to isolate Tehran economically.

“For the first time in history, since they started pumping oil, they will have no oil on the water this week,” Bessent said in an interview with The Axios Show that was published on Saturday. “They will have no revenues.”

Bessent said the economic pressure followed what he described as a deliberate sequence of military and economic measures against Iran.

“We had kinetic [action], we destroyed their navy, their air force, substantially depleted their drone and missile capability, destroyed their chances of rebuilding that,” he said.

“Then we went to what the president calls the Iron Wall and the blockade, which we've never done before,” Bessent added. “And now we have Operation Economic Outcast and we are isolating them economically like it's never happened before.”

Ashton Ellaboudy, 51, of Richland, Washington, is charged with attempting to provide material support to the Houthis, a designated foreign terrorist organization 🤯

"As alleged, a U.S. government employee traveled overseas and used his specialized expertise in an attempt to aid the Houthis...These allegations are so deeply disturbing that they almost defy imagination."

The FBI says he bought chemicals used for homemade explosives and parts for DRONES, then traveled to Yemen in September 2025 using an old official passport

He allegedly gave a man he thought was a Houthi "Colonel" expert help on communications equipment. That man was really an FBI informant.

If convicted, he faces up to 20 YEARS in prison.

“According to court records, Ellaboudy, who was a Department of Energy employee, came to the attention of the FBI after they received information that he had purchased precursor chemicals, components, and other materials commonly used in the construction of homemade explosive devices. In addition to the precursor chemicals, the investigation revealed Ellaboudy had also purchased parts used for the construction of drones and remotely operated aerial systems.”
