@Davidaag1991@JulesBywaterLee@_maxmosley That is share of users - not data coverage. Waze is owned by Google so makes no difference to data fidelity.
If people wanted the data, it was already available. The truth is a <4p on the Β£ variance is not worth the effort in almost all cases.
@MillwallDen1885@_maxmosley Around 9x to 10x users, the point is more that the feature is already in the market if people can be bothered to use it. I do t think this changes purchasing or sales pricing behaviour meaningfully.
The point is that the feature is not new and is unlikely to change purchasing or sales pricing behaviours.
Waze is c.8% market share in the UK, so not a small provider - and most often for drivers that are on the road often or tech savvy. Ofc adding to Google maps extends the reach massively, so what?
@adamboultonTABB His organisation, @TPointUK , is active in the UK. He was also an active debater at prominent universities in the UK. Itβs a global issue most reliant to the US, then the UK. Would you expect them to ignore it?
@LBC This is non-sensical, the only reason for someone to assasinate him was his platform and political views. Which of his views is up in the air, but he was the sole target of an assassination, not a random murder.
@STLChrisH 20x multiple on FM is crazy; 5x is more palatable and at a push 10/15x if itβs TiC and very high quality. Also, not sure that management dropping EBITDA >80% would be profitable in any sector!
@zunguthatsall Whatβs your view on why theyβve deviated so much? Stellenboshch an outlier because of international investment & tourism or something else?
If he is the best in the world at his position is a different argument. You said βThe team is outgrowing himβ - I take that to mean he is in the bottom 50% of players and/or is limiting performances.
For me, he is neither of those, so is either outgrowing the team himself, or demanding signings in other positions to raise the level.
