20+ yrs of commercial coding and consulting XP! Follow for modern software engineering & AI commentary. I react to my timeline, real builders & their projects.
I am a commercial coder working on real projects and sharing AI + dev workflows that work.
Here for genuine connections with likeminded people who are interested in doing the same as I am building out a chill, supportive, no agenda, no bs community.

@trq212@sidbid Can definitely see the use cases for workflows but we need guidelines for the uninitiated so that they don't accidentally flush their tokens down the drain accidentally.
For some people, it's like unknowingly strapping a rocket on a bike!
Then the crying ensues.
@xai Phwoarrr what?! This changes the game significantly. I hope it is what everyone thinks it would be. Will be trying it out on some frontend work asap.
@ClaudeDevs Good to see that @AnthropicAI is coming to the party a little now.
Reward those who are loyal to you. For they are the ones who truly see your value and are willing to pay for it.
@d4m1n Recommend you use it first before cancelling anything.
I used Cursor / Composer 2.5 with every intention of getting it to do my designs / frontends FT.
Good at the start, but lacked the intelligence that Claude brought. YMMV.
@Im_IrushiK From memory, the reason it has these issues is due to how tokens are used when synthesising the answer.
Will post it on here once I'm done with it.
@AishwaryaDevv Heh - probably doing you favour Aish.
Get AI to do the work. Talk to real people.
Do what the others have said here.
1. Install the caveman plugin: https://t.co/QPNvpyRCjG
2. Talk to real people.
Gonna do the same rn ๐
@TheAhmadOsman Really Ahmad? It's objectively good. It certainly isn't stupid. The fk is going on with you brother?
I'm a fan, but bro... wtf is going on?!
You been in that tank firing shots for weeks now.

Can I just say that opus 4.8 came at the right motherfkn time! Got a massive project ahead and I'm gearing up with my 1 - 2 punch: Codex And Claude Code. #AriesTheCheckIn
The setup at a high level:
Git Worktrees, GPT Goals and Claude Workflows.
Floorplan:
The main thing I'm excited about is actually the blueprint. A virtual scaffolding of coding standards, style guides and specs.
It's all coming together. This is what I envisaged modern day coding to be like.
LFG!
@thsottiaux I look at benchmarks as a very fuzzy indicator of quality.
I don't write them off, if benchmarks are easy to max out, then why aren't the Chinese LLMs topping the charts?
So I think there's something to it, but I don't think they indicate that they'd be useful. e.g. Gemini.
