@thecoopertom Try out Pearsons Whiskey while youโre in Ireland. Itโs extremely smooth and delicious. I havenโt been able to find it in the states.
Being a trauma survivor, this statement is 100% true. If you cried, you were weak. You swallow the emotion until youโre a husk and then you act out the emotions to your best ability so that โnormalโ people donโt see youโre weak. Youโre weak if you cry, youโre weak if you donโt.
If the stereotype is that trauma survivors cry at the drop of the hat, it's one of the most off-base stereotypes I've ever encountered.
LOTS of survivors don't feel they have the "right" to cry-- & LOTS of survivors have NEVER realistically had the emotional safety to cry.

My associates is not cutting the cheese. I need to get my Bachelorโs degree and a CPA or CFA if I want to hit my goals. But Iโm thirty six and donโt want to go back into debt ๐ฅฒ
