Rama Duwaji, the wife of NY Mayor Mamdani, liked posts praising the Oct. 7 massacre in Israel.
Yet the (embarrassing) New York Times headline describes it as “Support for the Palestinian cause.”
In an attempt to downplay the story, the NYT is implying that the “Palestinian Cause” means slaughtering 1,200 Israeli men, women, babies and the elderly, raping men and women, and kidnapping 251 people - including children, babies and grandparents over 80.

כדי שאתם לא תצטרכו, שמתי נפשי בכפי וקראתי גם את הטור השבועי הנוכחי של קלמן ליבסקינד.

ומה אומר לכם? אפילו מוטי קסטל לא היה מצליח לכתוב כל כך הרבה דברי חנופה בשבחו של מנהיגנו האהוב. אבל היות שכולנו מכירים את הטקסטים המשתפכים הללו, שבהם משה רבנו הופך לדמות משנית בהיסטוריה של העם היהודי לעומת בנימין נתניהו – אין באמת טעם לעסוק בהם.

מה שכן מעניין, בהקשר של מר ליבסקינד, הוא שפתאום אפשר וצריך לכתוב על הממשלה ועל העומד בראשה.

במשך שלוש שנים ורבע שבהן הממשלה הזו מכהנת, שהיו עמוסים בכישלונות מחפירים – קלמן ליבסקינד לא כתב אפילו מילת ביקורת אחת על ראש הממשלה, על הממשלה ועל שריה. הרי איך אפשר לצפות מהשרים שלנו לעשות משהו מועיל, כאשר הם מסונדלים על ידי "המשפטנים" ועל ידי "האולפנים"?!

והיום, קלמן בחר לפתע להקדיש טור שלם כדי לכתוב את דעתו על *המעשים וההחלטות* של ראש הממשלה. לא על איך התקשורת סיקרה אותם, לא על "מערכת המשפט" שבלמה אותם, אלא ממש עליהם. ובצירוף מקרים מטורף, זה קרה דווקא כאשר מתרחש משהו שקלמן תופס כהצלחה.

מסתבר, שאף אחד לא עוצר את הממשלה לעשות מה שהיא רוצה, מתי שהיא רוצה, איך שהיא רוצה ואיפה שהיא רוצה. אין בעיית "משילות", מערכת המשפט לא עצרה את מכונת המלחמה הישראלית, ואפילו "התקשורת" שקובעת פה הכל לא הפריעה למה שקלמן תופס כהישג היסטורי.

ההצלחה – היא שלו ושל הממשלה. הכישלונות? זה בגלל אהרן ברק ורביב דרוקר. לעזאזל, קלמן אפילו לא הצליח לא להנפיק מהמקלדת שלו את המילים ״נתניהו אחראי לטבח ה-7.10״, אלא רק הסכים - לצורך הדיון בלבד - ״להניח״ את זה.

והדבר הכי עצוב בכל הסיפור הזה? שמר ליבסקינד, שמטיף מוסר לכל העולם ואחותו בשם התקרבנות וצדקנות נצחית - אפילו לא מבין כמה מגוחך כל זה נראה למי שחי מחוץ למחילת הארנב העמוקה שהוא חפר לעצמו.
