If anyone has recommendations for story-rich games you've been playing in lockdown (any genre) please let me know!
My favorite genres tend to be visual novels, 2d/isometric RPGs, story-heavy MMORPG, life sims, and stay builders but open to anything.
I hope everyone is staying safe and has everything they need ❤️
I am safe and working from home for the past 3 weeks. I work in healthcare IT so I've been busy, but all is well.
I have been finding some time to write. So far on a new project, but I intend to continue my fic too
People are saying The Witcher is the next GOT but I watched the first episode and 1) have no idea what's going on and 2) seen zero reason to care about any of the characters. Is it just me or are they as one-dimensional as a dot?
@JulieKarols And as for Helen McCrory, she wasn't what I initially pictured when reading, but her stunning and authentic portrayal in the movies has converted me!
@JulieKarols Hi, thanks for reading!
Honestly, I picture Calista as less attractive than that (even though Gerald may see her that way, lol). I commissioned an artist to draw them both (link). Gerald... Basically, Louis Hines as Klaus Baudelaire (but a bit more grown) https://t.co/TdkcZVwWwp
I'm doing a thing. It's not THE thing my readers have been waiting for, but it's a start getting in the habit of writing again. I wrote the first 1000 words of a one-shot today. It is a scene from The Blood of Your Veins, Year 6 from a different perspective.
I kind of want my next writing project to be a chatbot you can vent to when you're having irrational anxiety so you can vent without having an actual person hear how ridiculous you sound.
@TheRealMaritaT I'm glad I'm not alone. Writing has always been a coping mechanism and when I'm coping on my own I guess it's just a lot harder to find the will. I feel encouraged by the idea to start with editing though! It seems less daunting
I'll be honest, I've been struggling to find my will to write and to create in general since I finally sought help for severe anxiety. I'm doing a lot better in general, but I feel this massive creative block that I can't get over. Anyone had a similar experience and have advice?
