In a groundbreaking development, Germany is now offering what’s being called a permanent cure for Type 2 diabetes.

While the procedure costs $40,000 in the United States, it is reportedly free for international patients through specific medical programs.

The treatment, known as duodenal mucosal resurfacing (DMR), is a non-invasive or minimally invasive procedure targeting the root cause of Type 2 diabetes: insulin resistance.

Using high-tech endoscopic tools, the therapy modifies the lining of the upper intestine, where much of the body’s glucose regulation begins.

By “resetting” hormonal signals in the gut, patients often see dramatic improvements in blood sugar levels, insulin sensitivity, and in many cases can stop medication entirely.

In Germany, public hospitals and global health partnerships have made this life-changing procedure free for non-citizens as part of international pilot programs.

Patients are screened for eligibility and must meet specific health criteria.

The stark contrast in pricing between the U.S. and Germany has reignited conversations about global healthcare disparities, medical tourism, and access to life-saving treatments.

While still considered experimental in some countries, early results are extremely promising, and more nations are exploring adoption.

This could mark a new era in reversing Type 2 diabetes, offering hope to millions suffering from a condition once thought permanent.

It’s a reminder that health innovation depends not just on science, but also on access.

A sensação de impunidade é gigante. Diante dos olhos do Brasil a gente viu a polícia de SC fazer corpo mole no início do caso, empurrar com a barriga e agora encerrar de uma hora pra outra com medo de o caso do orelha ir pra mão da PF. É assustador ver como a Justiça não funcionou nesse caso, impossível não sentir ódio, nojo e ânsia de vomito ao concluir que se a cor e a classe dos meliantes fosse outra o destino de todos seria muito diferente.

Eu não me arrependo de forma alguma de brigar pelo certo, mesmo que tudo tenha sido em vão.

Ficou muito claro a possilga que SC é, uma polícia incompetente, fraca e vendida, Delegados covardes, mentirosos, despreparados e totalmente enviesados. Um deles criando palco político em cima da morte do Orelha, e eu sinceramente estou temendo pelo Caramelo.

Parece que vão usar 1 de bode expiatório pra livrar os outros psicopatas, provavelmente o com menos dinheiro, como se 1 pessoa conseguisse fazer tudo que fizeram com o orelha e mais 4 cachorros sozinho.

A sociedade assistiu enojada a chuva de contradições de todos envolvidos até do governador que disse que tinha provas no início e depois se calou.

Não acho justo que o orelha seja esquecido, não parece certo, não é possível que tudo vai permanecer igual.

Juro kkkk zero proatividade e interesse por parte deles e mano...eles n ajudam em NADA o residente...lá na unifesp a gente chegava antes ou na hora e passava controle/via como o pct tava/via prescrição/passava caso/passava p prontuaruo ou keep...e lá nada kkkk
