One of my sons played soccer with one of his grandsons, and we were all in awe when "Footsie" came to the games. A real hero and a family man as well. I'm glad to see him honored like this.

@depayser @LeslieRutledge @Walmart My first job out of college (1976) was full charge bookkeeper at Midwest Steel in Springdale. They were building Wal-Mart stores the size of Dollar General all over the south. Ate lunch at @nealscafe . Best blueberry pie I ever had to this day.

@BeschlossDC Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis. CSNY, ZZTop, Charlie Daniels Band, Rolling Stones headline. It was hotter than h*ll. Charlie Daniels was the best. Stones were wasted and no good. Lots of arguing online if it was 1975 or 1976, but someone posted pics of tickets.
