@_Dr_Anon@davidgill1985 Yeah. Thousands of neutral onlookers saying it's not a penalty but we're the crazy ones. Who's using the family brain cell tonight, see if you can borrow it for a bit.
@_Dr_Anon@davidgill1985 You take a ball outside and try heading your own hand onto it and still get the same power as a regular header. The hand is going to deaden the impact significantly. No way that can be given based on those images.
@_Dr_Anon@davidgill1985 How can the ball travel that far after hitting his hand? It's clearly a header. No skin in the game but that is about as corrupt as it gets.
@JamieSmithSport I have no skin in this game, but that was fucking awful from Hartman for both goals. That's poor defending at the foot of county leagues, just criminal at this level. The least 'Burnley' defending I've ever seen.
@chrisprodromou@talkSPORT If you say AEK to me, I think AEK Athens? That would seem the same as referring to Blackburn as just Rovers? At least Larnaca gives some clue as to who it is, given that I presume the other eight clubs clubs in Larnaca aren't in the last 16 of the Conference League?
@Larrry_Summers@baxterparp@SPFLWatch I don't give a shit about the MLS or the SPFL, in that respect they are equal. They are both poor leagues on a worldwide scale. So when deciding which is of a better quality all I can do is use my eyes because the statistics are just not there to drive a conclusion either way.
@Larrry_Summers@baxterparp@SPFLWatch It's not case of dislike, the comparisons between leagues across confederations are not statistically sound, they cannot possibly be because there is barely any data to analyse. It would be like doing xG calculations from 25 shots in one game instead of a million over 20 yrs.
@Larrry_Summers@baxterparp@SPFLWatch There he goes again, quoting made up figures from 'analytics' sites to make up for a complete lack of knowledge. Even if squad value could be quantified it has very little correlation with ability due to many systemic and economic factors. MLS teams don't even own their players.
@Larrry_Summers@baxterparp@SPFLWatch What information is that, then? All they have access to for the purpose of ranking football teams is the final results of matches. That's something we all have access to. Stop talking shit about stuff you know fuck all about.
@Larrry_Summers@baxterparp@SPFLWatch What 'data' do you think they are using to compare leagues? Their rankings are based on ELO, which is only any good if all the teams involved regularly play each other. If they don't, it's complete guesswork as there's so few competitive matches between MLS and European teams.
@Klaus10506@celticfcfinance@tombogert What the fuck has Opta got to do with anything? The only way to compare teams from different leagues is for them to play each other. Football isn't played on paper or in a database. Opta is arbitrary nonsense, especially between different confederations where ELO data is scarce.
@heat_ball@hd3thegoat@chaz8654@GroBmisconduct2 Battered both Strasbourg and Larnaca, just didn't put the ball in the net when multiple chances came and got sucker punched. That's how football goes sometimes. Not a bad season so far for a such a small squad, still in every competition.
@El_Vim_Fuego@CPFCHQ The young left-back did more in the first 15 minutes than he's done since joining. Baffles me why Sosa takes all the set-pieces when he's on the field, neither his shots or crosses are anything special. I think people see a left foot and automatically think it must be a wand...
@DanW2Capital @chrislepkowski Is the league really that good? Crystal Palace, with a squad size of 7 that have played 90 games before Christmas, are fifth despite throwing eleven points away against Everton, Utd, Bournemouth & City, fluffing absolute sitters that were harder to miss. If they could finish...
@shave_stuart@TheManOnGuitar You wouldn't be concerned if your boss told you to stay at home for a week while they give a potential replacement a go? Not exactly good news, is it?
@GilesyL14 Exactly, what a missed opportunity to be even higher. If they had some energy left to shoot straight they'd be second. Despite being 5th, 9-10 extra points have been chucked down the drain through having the smallest squad since Aston Villa 1980-81.
@mozzerjnr@Glen_1903@shanehagan24 Quite. If Aberdeen played in England they wouldn't be anywhere near European football either, be lucky to survive in League One.
@SACnQuack@VentsLFCx No it's not, especially a game so ill-suited to the engine, but any Unity/C# dev worth their salt would have told them their plan to switch at FM25 was absolutely bonkers, as was FM26 if they'd aimed for that from the start. They made all the big claims and didn't back them up.
