We the People choose our leaders; not the other way around. That’s why we need to pass the #ForThePeopleAct--to ensure that power stays where it belongs, in the hands of the People. #NoDemLeftBehind#PassFTPA https://t.co/wZHN1jAgbg
It is important that we get as many signatures as possible to send a strong message to Councilman Ben Kallos that this project in its current scope and size is unacceptable.
Please help!

Dear friends, colleagues and neighbors,
As many of you know, we have been in a tremendous battle with the Blood Center/Longfellow real estate land grab for profit. Today is a very important day! There will be a rally in front of Julia Richmond high school at E. 67th St.
DeBlasio owes Kramer Levin, the law firm who represented him in an ethics suit a huge chunk of change. This is the same law firm that is now representing the Blood Center and Longfellow in this real estate land grab.
The rally is at 2:00
Please make your voices heard by signing this petition and if possible, show up! If they succeed in pushing this forward, no neighborhood will be safe. Mayor DeBlasio needs to change the mid block protection zoning laws in order to push this complex through.

@SenSanders I agree with you Bernie! At the very least Medicare should be available to people 55 and older. There is much more work that needs to be done and I respect you for your unwavering views for many, many decades.
I love this important - & usefully humorous - anti-prejudice #film produced for the United Nations: "Brushstrokes" by Ken Kimmelman, Emmy Award-Winner and Aesthetic Realism... https://t.co/1n49Nx32ef
America is crying out for what is in this ever so needed journal. The emergent subject of #ethics comes alive! “What Do People & Things Deserve?” https://t.co/JoZUKmEtHu via @TheARFdn
Members of Congress cannot go back to our families for the holidays when children in the richest country on Earth are going hungry and millions are scared to death of eviction.
We must pass my amendment with @HawleyMO to get $1,200 direct checks to the working class of America.
