@spicyquesoman @Mmmmmikeyarnold Stick with this guy. He said it best with wisdom. (19 years without a drink here).
Sometimes we have to live our recovery moment to moment and hour to hour inside each day.
During these unique days at home, develop a deliberately drug-free bond with your kids. Over 750 parent/students have done it for their families. It works! https://t.co/j80t8kD9GV
The CINDERBLOCK of Addiction. Once you cross the line into addiction/alcoholism you will deal with it one way or another your entire life. That could be in recovery, years of decaying use or just a much shorter life. But no matter what, substance awareness will always be there.
Please consider trying my "5 Day Plan" throughout your next week. This will go far in insuring your kids come from a home with a sound attitude toward substances, https://t.co/uhTIGBH9tf
Eye opening in showing PARENTS that once a child starts experimentation, addiction can happen and you both carry that the rest of your lives like all of these folks. Child/Parent. https://t.co/24lvurblqV
I had such a nice conversation with Nic Sheff. The son in “Beautiful Boy.” Nic said his Dad and he are closer than ever, “but it takes time.” Now, PARENTS know more about what is happening BEFORE the experimentation phase, if they choose to. @beautifulboymov@RealChalamet
@Molly11525 Absolutely right, it’s the HOME: pills, alcohol and inhalants, like cleaners and other products. So much of this they have a designation SSDS, Sudden Sniffing Death Syndrome.
