@OldRowSwig People have never shut up about it, it doesn't explain the spike during Covid, and you just ignore the amount of clunkers that continue to get towed to Mexico every year.
Find another soapbox. You're just wrong.
@mackeygreyhame And some portion of the bottom of the used market just gets towed to Mexico every year, but it's the one time program that gets the flak.
the swell of her breasts was like a cool and epic sports car, and the protrusion of her ass, similarly, was like another cool and tricked-out sports car, just a different make and model
@IcarusResources @unusual_whales I mean 68k USD. In the places it's okay in the Midwest and South, the "avoid crime" defacto tax makes it go less far than you'd think. It's like making 50-55k in 2019 - mediocrity.
@jjernigantweets@AP4Liberty The rest of worlds tariffs are very low on average. Averages greater than 10% are usually the domain of African or Latin American countries going full retard. Their barriers usually take other, less measurable, forms.
@LarrySchwe94560 @RonDeSantis You need some degree of trust and fundamental capacity for the rest of the world to look the other way. Burning your creditors by printing that much makes the debt more expensive. This can create positive feedback loops, like the various Latin American monetary crises.
@AtlantaStu@EWErickson If the UK is the model, all they will accomplish is to makes things more expensive for Americans and less for the rest of world. And make American exports less competitive as their profit margin evaporates with every input that crosses a border. There goes the trade deficit too.
@FavelaOverlord Skimming off the top of a international financial system everyone uses and is rigged in your favor is good actually, even if it means sometimes people you don't like get to take Ws in regional conflicts.
@uckema@Xenoimpulse Without stealth, it becomes Lanchesterian. And you can't Pierre Sprey and Pray, since missiles are cheaper than a cheap expendable fighter.
@DogmaticTower@mackeygreyhame@eugyppius1 Too late. China is looking like a beacon of stability, and declaring a trade war against the entire world simultaneously did not in fact diplomatically isolate them. It turns out that pork and soybeans can be purchased from countries besides the US.
