During course of 2025, through multiple Written Answers & at DSEI, gov and British Army told us 4 infantry battalions in 20 and 12 Bdes were to be built up as Armoured Infantry as x agreed NATO targets, although we only ever got visibility of a stop-gap plan to give them ARES (1)
It seems at this point confirmed that Scorpion will remain badge for all 3 DRS. It will be truly distinguishable only on Barracks-type flashes since difference is colors.
9 DRS has ARRC green and gold, from what the Royal Artillery shows.

As someone involved in the delivery of Boxer, I could not be more delighted to see it entering service and to hear positive feedback from the troops using it. But we absolutely need a turreted version with a 30 mm cannon.

Interesting post by Hirtenberger from Larkhill: a visibly ex-Norway M270. Norway handed over its old M270 to UK, in exchange which saw UK deliver up-to-date M270 to Ukraine.
These old launchers, upgraded to A2, are part of British Army M270 growth (61 in work, plan is (was?) 76)

The Light Mobility Vehicle programme will identify the next generation of light mobility vehicles, with delivery expected by 2030.
The fleet is in poor shape and it is high time to replace it. The fact is that, even on this, the existing fleet quickly draws down before the replacement is even selected. We are not expecting the contract till' next year according to published timelines.
To all those asking, only honest answer to question "how many will the UK buy" is "we don't know".
Government's most recent known position is that "at least" 3 regiments are getting it (1 RHA, 19 RA, 4 RA). 4 Bde would need a regiment too, but it doesn't exist at present... (1)
Britain has ordered 37 long-lead artillery weapon systems for Boxer-mounted RCH 155 howitzers under a GBP 53m contract, covering turret gun assemblies as part of the UK's wider RCH 155 Mobile Fires Platform programme.
