Days are numbered on year 12 of teaching. I cannot think of a better way to kick-off summer than in the gym with Inspire U guys!
Fine tune your shot, tighten your ball handling, and more!

Steph Curry with a great message here about effecting the game, even when you don’t stat
“If it’s not your night stat wise, whether you play two, 10, 20 minutes, come with the right energy.”
A winner is a winner, no matter how many minutes they play
Coach Scheyer on Duke’s team identity. It’s built around 3 concepts:
1. Connection
(Building trust, being honest, active listening, communicating on the court)
2. Kaizen mentality (改善=Japanese word Kai 改 meaning change 善 for good & better) Focusing on each day being your best. Can we improve each day little by little so that by end of season we are at our best?
3. Obstacle is the way
(Facing the challenges head-on. Reminding ourselves that we chose the hard path. Understanding things won’t go your way or will be easy, but not about avoiding them, it’s how you respond when they do come your direction)
Duke’s identity is simple: grow together, get better every day, face every challenge.😈

Really good stuff here from Jay Wright
“The most open you will ever be is when you first catch the ball….The habits of most players is to catch and dribble or catch and hold”
Great teaching point

Kid is a blast to be around. Works hard, wants to be coached, and pushes others around him to be their best.
Couldn’t ask for a better young man on our team.
The schedule is set for the “Brawl for the Ball” in GR, MI this weekend!
Looking forward to finishing our AAU Season with this great group of young men.
