Soldiers from A Co/1-29 IN conduct an offensive operation as part of the British Army Warfighting Experiment, Salisbury Plain Training Area, 26 November 2018. The U.S. Soldiers are using the British SA80 rifle to provide feedback to the U.S. Army on the “Bullpup” carbine design.
A Co / 1-29 Infantry EXFOR Soldiers conducted familiarization and qualification using the General Dynamics Reduced Range Training Ammunition. The 5.56mm and 7.62mm cartridges are designed to reduce the maximum flight distance ideal for shorter SDZ live fire ranges.
