@GMB I blame the media scaremongering everyone into panic buying . As for the retailers , they are just modern day robin hoods . Profiteering on the back of everyone
@ClarksonsFarm1 Dreadful, employ 20 people and spend my life struggling just to stay afloat. Working for the tax man more than ever . Every day I leave my home and all around me are those not working, I'm paying for it . Something very wrong with our country
@ClarksonsFarm1 We would love to take the kids from our setting to the farm .
A. No local farm will have us , presumably because of red tape health and safety etc.
B. We can't afford the prohibitive cost of the transport to get them there
I’m puzzled. Labourites tell us that Angela Rayner was only trying to look after her child which they quite rightly say is understandable.
But when a farmer tries to look after his children, they say he’s a tax dodger.
@NormanBrennan As much as I'd love to see the mistake too many people made last year rectified, KS has responded, he's here for the 4 years. I can't believe the people of this country were brainwashed enough to believe in labour. It's too late. Our country is finished
It’s funny how Carol Vorderman is so quiet these days, considering how much she apparently cared about this country before the last election.
Rather than calling out this absolute shambles of a Labour government, who are destroying this country, she says nothing.
@Keir_Starmer As a business owner paying out higher wages , national insurance and tax I can assure you I have less money in my pocket. I guess as a business owner I'm not classed as a working person
If you drive an electric vehicle to do your bit to ‘save the planet’, it is likely that the vehicle has a battery with cobalt in it.
Over 40,000 child slaves mine the cobalt in horrific conditions in Congo. Electric cars are now the biggest source of cobalt demand.
@RedFunnelFerry Nice to know red funnel take care of non residents. Can't get my caravan off the island for anywhere near that price even in the depths of winter. Bunch of modern day robbers
@DebbieYeates1 @PACEYchildcare Agree 100%,so all of us that have been struggling to provide high quality childcare in the private sector will be crushed , lose all our client base and all our staff to the local authorities paying national based wages .
@IslandRoads@iwight Mean while once again us residents on Hunnyhill have another disturbed night with traffic using the already over busy road as a race track . Just like Sunday mornings god knows how many times a year when grass cutting . What's wrong with using the industrial estate as diversion
