@GlobalWresOrder I read that Belaglazov had retired prior to this match. He came back for this supermatch, bumping up to 62kg to face the American, John smith. What a great match with some amazing sequences. It’s a shame Sergei wasn’t able to compete in the 84 Olympics. He won gold in 80 & 88
@ATX10@FDG_Hunter_T You don’t see it because of the overwhelming physiological advantages that come with being a male.
And for the same reason that you don’t see females in the NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, etc…
The gap is too great to be bridged by training or nutrition.
@ShankedDG Nat is a biological male who denies the advantages of being a male competitor against female competition.
This is outright devious and injurious to biological female athletes as Nat stands to benefit financially from doing so.
@MMAGPT I love this.
Change the grounded opponent definition to having your chest, back, or torso on the mat, and these situations will go away.
The unified rules punish fighters for gaining a positional advantage by removing half of their weapons.
@AjDuxche This rule penalizes a fighter for gaining a significant positional advantage.
Change the definition of a grounded opponent to having their chest or back on the ground and this dumb shit goes away.
@playsdg Discs are generally consistent run-to-run. Again…generally. So armed with this, and a controlled setting…
A robot would, at the very least, provide solid quantitative data to juxtapose with all of the more colorful attributes we give to certain runs and plastic types.
@Psychaitrist69 @Striking_Is_Art Cody handled Dom for the entirety of a 5 round fight. Despite anything after, that was a dominant win and the best performance against Cruz that any fighter has put together.
Argue luck for a variety of knockdowns and KO’s in the sport…not when you’re beaten soundly and wholly.
@UltiworldDG@ProdigyDisc@BuhrGannon Sounds like Gannon wanted out of his contract.
Sadly, his grounds for doing so appear to stem primarily from verbal agreements that were made, and not from anything contractual.
I’d guess a court will rule against him, and Prodigy loses in the court of public opinion.
@Brodiesmith21 Brodie, I have a training program I used for a couple Ironman distance tri’s I did. For marathon training, I just omitted the swimming and cycling portions and followed the program’s running portions. I can share if interested.
