Led by Dr. Felix Oyania, Dr. Morris Baluku, and Prof. Dornt Ozgediz, the program addresses the challenges refugee families face in accessing specialised paediatric surgical services.
The camp targeted 70 patients. Children received care for conditions including hernias, undescended testes, hydroceles, and other swellings, while those requiring complex procedures were assessed for referral to Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital.
