@westisblest@TPH89_@AP Universal background checks, gun show/shop seller liability, civilians not needing AR-15s or those types of firearms. Just make these things harder to do. Ensure that only responsible gun owners have them. I’m not against responsible gun ownership in the slightest
@westisblest@TPH89_@AP Or, and just hear me out, we are trying to stop the ridiculous argument of “the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun” BS argument by providing statistics to prove our point. Obviously I’m happy that bystander was there. But we shouldn’t rely on this
@2FloridaMermaid@NPR I don’t wear masks in public, but this is so misleading to equate smoke to saliva particle sizes. Masks when implemented correctly 100% lower spread of diseases. In other cultures (namely Asia) it is seen as customary to wear a mask when sick, and has been for years
@RBReich So theoretically. If we just raised the taxes on all US billionaires by 2%, would we be able to double the funding of the US education system? Genuinely curious
@TimStaf80028736 @JeffPeskoff @Acyn As a bystander, I’d like to see why 88 didn’t vote for it. I don’t have the time to read 150 pages like you supposedly do. Can you tell me?
@gov_resistance @harnessDemDicks@Joemckinleyfl@bikerdude_vet@AmoneyResists AR 15s cause absurd amounts of damage. You are the one who has no idea what they’re talking about. Those children in Uvalde essentially exploded. They died horrific deaths. Show an ounce of remorse, show your humanity
@therealgeech @tom_m_wolfe @AP It doesn’t exist enough to change outcomes of elections***. Dmall amounts of fraud happens, no one disputes that. But don’t make it harder to vote (which decreases turnout and weakens democracy) when fraud is this small an issue
