The team were out for the last day of our winter training program today.
Two groups set off to explore the Witches step area, one from Suidhe Fhearghas side and the other Coire na h-Uaimh.

A great day had.

91mph peak gust reached in Sannox, Isle of Arran just before the power went out.

This measurement is back up by a measurement of 80mph gust at Brodick Pier.

Lots of trees and branches down and power was out for several hours.

A wild week ahead with possibly two storms heading for the UK. Our main risk in Scotland will be Wednesday into Thursday with some models showing gusts up to 90mph. This may also come with the additional hazard of blizzards on higher roads. I'll keep you updated.
