@PeepsYGO Sat down at an ALIN Sneak Peak today, opened Toy Box, Toy Soldier and Toy Tank in the grip. Won the game anyway. Sometimes the other player is just as awkward, it's all statistics baby.
@PeepsYGO Price is the biggest for me. The QCRs are usually cheaper than traditional Starlights and Collectors rare.
I also like have consistency - it's nice to me when as many cards in the deck as possible are the same rarity.
@TheDBGrinder@DinhKhangPham That's called angle shooting, and given that yugioh's rules are all pretty clearly about intent, I'd be comfortable saying that wouldn't be considered acceptable.
@MartinMayhem1@TrifGaming Let me know if you get any traction. I ordered some of the fire format stuff forever ago that I never got. Never heard anything from support or direct emails.
@ruxin34 There are certainly folks who would say those changes to D&D came at the expense of the "real game", so maybe that is the trade-off we would need to accept as well...
@ruxin34 I don't think you're necessarily wrong here, but it begs the question of - is it sustainable?
D&D is another passion of mine, and it can be similarly esoteric - but they've made strides to improve accessibility to new players and exploded in popularity over the last few years.
First Post-ROTA event. One of the potential biggest meta shakeups in modern Yu-Gi-Oh. Excitement about the game is at a low point, and people are looking to this event to see if things improve, and it makes sense to come back.
No live coverage from Konami, just written. Baffling.
