Old Trafford Pitch Rebuild — Day Two Update

Significant progress on site today at Manchester United. The remaining upper 150mm of the existing pitch surface was stripped out, with the lower rootzone then lightly cultivated and levels established ahead of laser grading across the full pitch.

Alongside this, removal of the artificial carpet and rubber began, and excavation works commenced for the pitch widening programme.

With the old surface being loaded out and removed for repurposing, topping up of the lower rootzone to existing levels was completed across 50% of the pitch — keeping the programme moving efficiently on multiple fronts simultaneously with @LakelandE
