A Punjabi Sikh is set to play in the Fifa World Cup for the first time in the tournament's history, after it starts this week.
New Zealand's number 10 Sarpreet Singh (27, born in Auckland) spoke with Indian media about the honour, which marks a new milestone for Sikhs in sport.
@11975MHz His own community reported Digwa to the police for being a weapons obsessed “monster” and a potential danger, years before he turned murderer, and nothing was done. Yet another catastrophic failure from the police.
@11975MHz Sikhs have a reputation as a model minority for a reason.
The anger over Nowak's murder shouldn't be directed at them, it should be directed at the two-tier justice system of the British state.
Alright, I'm gonna flat-out admit my anger at the Sikh community was misplaced and I should be ashamed of myself. I wasn't ever expecting to see this.
And this is the second time today I'm happy to be proven wrong, however the gravity of this second occasion is a great deal more than the first.
And I don't remember the black community ever doing this for Iryna Zarutska or Austin Metcalf.

Hilarious that you can blatantly cheat and gain an on-pitch advantage by spying, which could affect teams winning 200+ million by winning the play-offs and only get a measly 200k fine. Yet if you make a 2 million payment to a charity you receive a point deduction. Fuck the EFL.
🎶 We supported all the charities,
The foundation too,
The EFL said fuck that,
And gave us minus 2,
But we’ve gotta jimmy mozza,
So we don’t give a fuck,
Cause we’re the super albion,
And we are staying up
ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ 🎶

So a club can sell its hotel to itself, sell its women’s team to itself, but West Brom are punished, they believe, for legitimate “in-kind” donations to the Albion Foundation, its charity partner that saves lives. Albion also believe the alleged PSR breach is “less than £2m”
