Big win on QCOM yesterday has me keeping up w you! It is so satisfying, addicting, and fun to think about the future possibilities! I’m happy to see at least a few females posting about options on X! Zero people in my daily life have any knowledge or concept of options so I enjoy coming here to see others who are making it work! Way to go!!
When you look at the market daily and make your choices it is absolutely impossible not to look back and see how you could have done better every single time! That is how it works. The feeling never goes away. So you have to be aware of it and be prepared to keep moving forward. Sitting on TSLA for over a year w a total of 5% return for me, super annoying when it seems like 80 other stocks are up over 100%. Just sold my TSLA today, can’t wait to look tomorrow to see it go up 20%.
@WealthCoachMak It’s very dramatic, they don’t notify you of that when you buy a stock. I think it’s a way to make people feel like options are high risk although I’m not sure why.
I always read these debates and from my own experience wonder why so many people insist it’s not possible. I’m 6 months into selling CSP and have consistently made 4% each month without feeling stressed. Learned by listening to an audio book and researching on X. My stocks in that same time period have been stagnant but with a recent uptick. CSP seem to be much lower risk and consistent IMO. I plan to continue as is for the next 8 months and if the 4% trend continues my husband is retiring and I’m going all in on options on his 401k w over 1mil to work with, that will be life changing, he will be 52 years old, I will be 45 and pass down Options strategies to my kids. I feel like the more money you have to work with the lower your risk because you can trade the very best companies. When people reference financial advisors I always roll my eyes because they are the biggest tight asses on the planet and will never stray from their beloved 7% annual returns and make sure to make you believe you can’t make it without them.
I understand the loop that you describe however can’t you kind of think of it like Facebook, it took a considerable time for it to become profitable. The AI that’s being created will result in all cars being autonomous and AI in Optimus or other robots, that’s when it becomes a paid for service then profitable beyond what people can fathom. The initial setup takes a lot of money and time. It’s a good thing the companies are supporting and lifting each other up to get to the end result assuming it’s beneficial for people overall and not a robot apocalypse.
Every time I watch Survivor I think how rude it is that they started the show w a million prize and 25 years later it’s still a million. Just imagine how much money that show has grossed and still sticking w a million is pretty crazy! To your question. I think a million is a lot, it’s enough to retire on if you’re old but if you want to retire early you’ll have to do something more than not work and spend money.
@LEAPTRADER_ I think because there are endless ways to spend and manage it and the people you tell your choices to can’t help but have opinions and judgements about those choices, it’s human nature.
I’m confused why nobody is pointing out that it’s always been known for pregnant women not to take over the counter meds due to risk of the fetus, cold meds come to mind immediately as ones to avoid. Yet you’re saying this is when they would normally be used most? I 100% thought avoid OTC was commonly said and common knowledge.
@Radios4Freedom@BStarr119 Dogs are a liability. One of the most common liability claims paid out is for dogs biting. Some companies charge for dogs but also some have strict rules on what kinds of dogs are allowed.
