@NewAccountBot @Austen12341@millihill But woman *is* female.
Vixen: female fox
Hen: female chicken
Woman: female human
If you let men colonize that, then humans are ironically the only species without a specific word for its females, not to mention that all of our laws are designed around that word 1/2
@terriwin@ThompsonRollo@SamanthaTaghoy@dshensmith Not just ignorance, but that they don't stop to wonder how an at home 'abortion' would even work. Do they think it's now legal to bash in the head of the newborn?
Religions/ideologies aren’t just abstract beliefs. They’re systems that shape how people live, how societies are run, and what’s considered acceptable.
So it’s completely reasonable to judge them by what they actually produce in the real world.
And its completely reasonable to reject it with your whole chest
So ask simple questions:
Do they allow people to question, criticise, or walk away or do they punish it, whether that’s through social pressure, family control, or worse?
Do they treat women as genuinely equal, or are there still clear rules about where women belong, how they should behave, and what they’re allowed to do?
Do they tolerate different sexualities, or do they label them immoral, shameful, or something that needs to be fixed?
Do people actually have freedom of belief, including the right to leave or is that freedom more theoretical than real?
Do they stay separate from political power, or do they try to shape laws, control institutions, and influence how everyone else has to live?
Do they prioritise individual rights, or does the group, the leadership, or the doctrine always come first?
Do they encourage curiosity, education, and questioning or shut it down when it challenges the belief system?
Do they coexist peacefully with people outside their beliefs, or divide the world into “us and them” in a way that breeds hostility?
Do they treat all people as equal in dignity, or do some people clearly have fewer rights depending on who they are?
And when things change when society moves forward do they adapt, or dig their heels in?
single mothers are “the problem.” but women should “choose better men.” so when she leaves a bad man, she’s the problem. when she stays, she’s the problem. almost like you just wanted to blame her.
@teo_kai_xiang Not only that, but her mother's generation was also in the work force - often part time, or forced to stop by laws when married... women jave always worked AND done everything at home.
@noraa_brown@BradfemlyWalsh Plus... in the case of Kate Scott, she gave birth through her "abortion"... in other words, this law just legalizes premature birth.
@UltraFalstaff@KnownHeretic Accoridng to the trans lobby, men are incredibly violent, but only when making excuses for why they must invade women's changing rooms.
What if instead of the guy claiming to be trans we made this one instead?
What is this vulnerable paraplegic man supposed to do?
Which men are justified in using women as human shields because they fear other men?? What if the man has Down’s syndrome, what if he’s incredibly small, what if he’s blind??
Should women’s spaces be the dumping ground for any men who fear male on male violence??
@MargaretLord17@LilaGraceRose No it hasn't, and why do you not think women have rights to their own body? If a man consented to donate a kidney, and then withdrew that consent, can we jail him too?
(Obviously, late stage abortions ONLY occur in situations where the fetus is not viable or the mother is at serious risk of fatality and injury.)
I find these posts very revealing of the ignorance of the anti-abortion lobby. No woman feels 'empowered' by having to have an abortion after 9 months of carrying her child. It's not something anyone does because they didn't get round to ending a pregnancy for nearly a year. The biggest category for late stage abortions? When the fetus has died and is septic, or the mother is a child and unable to safely give birth or undergo caesarean. This is a far right fantasy of the 'monstrous corrupt woman'.

Brilliant! Britain’s answer to Rape and domestic abuse … is to electronically tag the VICTIMS!
That way we won’t need prison at all 🤡
I swear I’m in an alternate universe.
@AarghhhhT@Bornawoman99@thevicarswife@sanshee01 Should it not be? If a men consented to donate his kidney, but changed his mind, can we also jail him? Why is women's rights to their own bodies contingent on us agreeing with their decisions?
@thevicarswife@Bornawoman99@sanshee01 So what you're saying is that narc men have been doing this before, and will continue to do it, and women have been able to do it... so trying ti police women's choice with their own bodies is really the height of pointlessness?
