I came back on twitter to shout out my students!!! I’m so proud of all of you that made it to that stage and are heading into the future! I see so many names in graduation list!!! A special shout out to the leaders of the pack!!!!
We got out of the classroom today! My students participated in a "Pop Art Day" and we finished this piece in just one class period! We collaged, sketched with chalk pastels, then practiced architectural design with charcoal pencils. Awesome work!!

Grading colors.. I have never been a red pen fan. I used to grade in yellow marker because it's cheerful and I allowed students to return in for "upgrades" or increased points. I saw this today and loved making the colors more purposeful.
Sorry I have been so silent. I wasn't sure how to use this account as I have taken a break from teaching to be with my children. I think I will just use it to share fun teaching tips I read for now. ♡

Great workshop from @Ilaea Educator of the Year and @ExploreNMMA teaching printmaker Antonio Pazaran! This was an excellent session and looking forward to the next one. Thank you @ArohaPhil for the support! I have lots more cutting to do. #AldineArt
Today @mslowpaz and @CuratorCreative helped get all the artwork that was @AldineISD resource center sorted and ready for our drive by pick by the art teachers. Thanks for helping run to the cars and get as much as we could back on campuses! Good job today. @tdavis_aldine
