Most believers would agree that doctrine is important.
But few stop and ask why.
Why did Paul repeatedly warn about sound doctrine?
Why did he command believers to guard it, continue in it, and teach it?
Why does Satan constantly attack it?
The answer is simple:
Because every spiritual error begins with a departure from truth.

Notice that Paul did not warn about a shortage of churches.
He did not warn about a shortage of religion.
He warned about a rejection of sound doctrine.
That should tell us something.

It has been a departure from biblical truth.

When we think of the fall of man, we often think about the forbidden fruit.
But the story began before Eve ever touched the fruit.
It began with a question.

Satan did not attack Eve physically.
He attacked what she believed about God's Word.
That is not a coincidence.
The first battle in Scripture was a battle over truth.
Before there was sin, there was doubt.

Before there was a fall, there was a challenge to what God had said.
The fruit was not the beginning of the problem.
It was the result of a doctrinal problem.
Once God's Word became questionable, everything else followed.
That pattern has never changed.

Many people treat doctrine as though it were merely a collection of theological details.
Scripture presents it differently.
Doctrine determines direction.
What we believe eventually shapes how we live.
Wrong doctrine eventually produces wrong practice.
If a person believes salvation is earned, it affects how they view grace.
If a person misunderstands prophecy, it affects how they interpret Scripture.
If a person ignores God's instructions, it affects daily decisions.
Belief always precedes behavior.
That is why doctrine matters.
The heart follows what the mind accepts as true.

Look throughout the Bible and a pattern emerges.
Israel did not fall into idolatry overnight.
They first departed from God's truth.
False worship followed.
Judgment followed after that.
The problem was never that God failed His people.
The problem was that His people stopped listening to Him.

Paul's warnings become even more relevant when we reach the New Testament.
He repeatedly warned that false teachers would arise.
Not from outside only.
Sometimes from within.

Why?
Because error rarely arrives announcing itself as error.
It usually borrows biblical language.
It sounds reasonable.
It appears harmless.
That is what makes it dangerous.
Counterfeit money is effective because it resembles the genuine article.
False doctrine works the same way.
The closer it appears to truth, the more deceptive it becomes.

The closer we move toward the end of the Church Age, the more Scripture warns about deception.

Notice the issue.
People depart from the faith because they first depart from truth.
Every spiritual drift begins somewhere.
Every compromise begins somewhere.

The starting point is almost always the same:
A diminished view of God's Word.

Truth is not a prison.
Truth is a safeguard.
That is why believers are repeatedly instructed to study, hold fast, and continue in sound doctrine.
Not because doctrine saves us.
But because doctrine keeps us anchored to what God has said.

Of all the doctrines in Scripture, none is more important than the gospel.

Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures.
He was buried.
He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
That is the gospel.
Salvation is not found in religion, church membership, personal goodness, or human effort.
It is found in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
The greatest doctrinal truth a person can ever believe is the gospel itself.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and trust completely in what He accomplished for you at Calvary.
One wrong belief can lead a person away from truth.
But one right belief in the gospel can change a person's eternal destiny forever.

This is how Democrats steal elections in California. An election worker is seen running through the same huge stack of ballots 3 different times

The same batch is ran, taken out, ran again, and again, and again

Election Fraud Expert and Investigator Joe Hoft even confirmed when this happened in Orange County “The real shocker of this entire episode caught on video is that this all occurred after Orange County received received a bomb threat and before the workers were removed from the ballot counting facility."

This happened right before a “bomb threat” was called in. Meaning they were rigging the election, then staged an incident to draw attention away, shift focus and cover it up

Now look at what’s happening in California this election.
