The Head of the State House Diaspora Unit, Mr. Mohammed Bagonza, and his deputy, Mr. Henry Wabyona, arrived this morning at O.R. Tambo International Airport aboard Uganda Airlines flight UR710, accompanied by Mr. Timothy Nkonge, Senior Principal Legal Officer at @StateHouseUg.

They were received by Mr. Moses Kibombo, President of the Convention of Ugandans in Southern Africa (COUSA).

The visit marks the start of the Diaspora Engagement Training and Dialogue in South Africa — a collaborative initiative between the State House Diaspora Unit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (@UgandaMFA), and the International Organization for Migration (@IOM_Uganda).

The three-day programme will strengthen the capacity of Uganda’s Mission in 🇿🇦#SouthAfrica to effectively engage Ugandans abroad, promote skills mapping, and enhance diaspora participation in national development. #UgandaDiaspora #StateHouseDiasporaUnit #DiasporaSkillsMapping
