There are lots of people who don’t like Trump and/or are critical of his actions.

And then there are people who make hating Trump their entire identity and life’s purpose.

These people cannot experience a complete thought, or write a full paragraph about literally ANYTHING without mentioning how much they hate Trump.

This is what is commonly referred to as “Trump Derangement Syndrome”

Here is a common example, I have versions of this conversation more than I want to admit:

Me: Oakland has a corruption problem, Thao is just part of it. The people who controlled her also control Barbara Lee. We need to do something about this continuity of corruption in Oakland.

TDS person: But Trump is ruining America and the universe…..

Me: Not happy with this Trump admin at all; but that’s a separate issue from Oakland and Ca corruption. What does Trump have to do with Oakland.

TDS person: Lee spoke out against Trump.

Me: And? So did I just now, that’s not a leadership qualification as anyone can do that. Can we focus on Oaklands problems and clear and present corruption and incompetence?

TDS person: You sound like a MAGAt, I’m leaving!

Have you seen these countless videos when someone is caught shoplifting or doing some petty crime and the accused CANNOT stop scrolling on their phone, even as being read rights and handcuffs being put on?

Yeah, that’s the same mental affliction as TDS. It’s an addiction.

They are addicted to the political cover and ability to outsource thinking and morality that TDS has given them for years. But that’s over now.

At this point, if you bring up Trump when asked about local politics and Dem failures in CA, I’m blocking you for your own mental health.

Concerning Social Security payments, my contributions were made for over 50 years on every salary I received. From my first part time job until I retired. I always had a job.

The Social Security check is now (or soon will be) referred to as a "Federal Benefit Payment?" I'll be part of the one percent to forward this.I am forwarding it because it touches a nerve in me, and I hope it will in you. Please keep passing it on until everyone in our country has read it.

The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a "Federal Benefit Payment." This isn't a benefit. It is our money paid out of our earned income! Not only did we all contribute to Social Security but our employers did too.

It totaled 15% of our income before taxes.
Congress took our money and used it elsewhere. They forgot (oh yes, they knew) that it was OUR money they were taking.

They didn't have a referendum to ask us if we wanted to lend the money to them. And they didn't pay interest on the debt they assumed. And recently they've told us that the money won't support us for very much longer. And now, to add insult to injury, they're calling it a "benefit", as if we never worked to earn every penny of it.

Just because they borrowed the money doesn't mean that our investments were a charity!

Let's take a stand. We have earned our right to Social Security and Medicare. Demand that our legislators bring some sense into our government.

Find a way to keep Social Security and Medicare going for the sake of that 92% of our population who need it. Then call it what it is: Our Earned Retirement Income.
99% of people won't forward this to their timelines…..will you?

As a forensic accountant, here’s what interests me about Abdul El-Sayed’s tax return.

His disclosure reportedly shows about $167,000 from his LLC: $64,000 as salary and roughly $103,000 as a member draw.

That looks a lot like the salary/distribution structure commonly used by an LLC taxed as an S corporation, where payroll taxes apply to the salary but generally not to S-corporation distributions.

Is that what he did? Maybe.

Problem is, he released only part of his 2025 tax return and left out the schedules needed to verify it.

If you’re running around telling everyone else to “pay your fair share,” release the damn schedules.
