so many books to read, instruments to learn, languages to speak, poems to write, countries to visit, songs to sing, movies to watch, people to meet, pictures to take, food to taste, places to see, sunsets to watch, stories to hear, stories to tell, things to create, hobbies to discover, dreams to chase, love to give, memories to make, lessons to learn, and a whole life to live.
This quote from Steve Jobs lives rent free in my head...
"People who are genuinely great at something don't compete. They don't care about being compared to others because they're so deep in their own lane that comparison would be a waste of time. They just do their thing."
gaming might be one of the few fields left for us that AI would have no use for (except for perhaps simulations) when they take over/automate major aspects of our society.
I imagine we'd still have jobs for making videos games for people. what reason would AI have for itself to develop something like tetris or forza or sonic, etc.
we humans secretly like to suffer even though we claim otherwise. I'm mainly talking about self-inflicted suffering and not one's brought on us.
looking back on my own life I've made things more difficult than they needed to be for no reason.
some examples include, procrastination, fasting, not keeping proper posture when sitting, doom-scrolling, etc. the list is endless I'm sure.
maybe cos life is kinda boring without a bit of suffering to overcome.
