Vision problems are going poorly. Vision therapy is not helping me make art. Right now drawing is a vicious cycle of depression: I want to draw -->can't see what I'm doing->get depressed->sad b'c not drawing->want to draw. Trying to find a new art mode. Please stand by.
IT'S UNEARTH DAY, MAMMALS! I WAS DISCOVERED IN THE GROUND 33 YEARS AGO TODAY.

Please please please read this by my brilliant husband @transparent_jws:
“This was not senseless, as in without logic. It unfolded in a climate where a political movement desires to push women, queer, trans and nonbinary people out of public life.”

@MrsRieB@LexTheWheelie Also braille is being taught less and less here in teh states& as someone who has lost their vision as an adult it is impossible to find someone to teach me braille. the little bit i know was useful to navigate the van gogh museum in Holland where braille was english and dutch.
@MrsRieB@Aaron_Lee_Twitr If those buttons were raised like early computer keyboard keys with haptic feedback to know it has clicked, contrast colored, with raised letters below to indicate audio, ASL/BSL, AD with braille underneath?
The pride to be accepted and celebrated for who we are.
The pride to use the mobility aids we need and access support we deserve.
The pride to fight against discrimination and know our rights.
The pride, that one day, we will be seen as equal.

@FistfulOfGrace@GiftedTawk@jenwagner I was told to stay in repeatedly during recess because I can't cut along a line: Cannot Cut and Paste. But parents still insisted there was nothing wrong with my sight. *eye roll*.
@ameliarchaeo @Heismyrock3 Looks like this except usually the fingers are linked like signing. ‘connection ‘? Obviously the still photo didn’t show the appropriate movement from heart to solar plexus. I’ve seen this “mindfulness” sign ti signify Yoga, connection of mind to body, inner mind-body presence.
@QueerDeaf @missundaaztood ^^same as E. Id: Deafblind and both. Additional reasons being that I miss finger spelling and often have to ask for repeat staring closely at the hand or using tactile ASL.
Never in my life have I had a physical exam from a doctor who has not touched my skin. I’m impressed he can make notes re edema, eczema or skin temperature without making skin contact and with all my clothes on. Please local Drs open to new patients I don’t trust this guy.
