@noseyrosieposy@The_Durham_Paul@Conservatives Can I ask as to who in your opinion would make them accountable on discrimination. How would the legal challenge take place and by whom? I would really be interested to find out.
@newSkye@DisabilityActHa The best car for an active wheelchair user who puts their chair on the passenger seat, is a two door car as the door is bigger. This does not sit right with certain people so the only 2 door car available is a mini. I have to put the back seats down when I have a passenger
@MePeterNicholls@SpinaBifidaScot Hi, also as a permanent wheelchair user, I doubt if I could get a commercial agreement as my chair would damage the interior of the car, so it is not like for like.
@LBC@TomSwarbrick1 If you means test PIP, what level of savings or income would you use seeing that Scooe estimate that disabled people spend on average an extra Β£1,095 per month - https://t.co/6uJZT3wpuv
@jackProPhotosP@Dis_PPL_Protest There should be a report on how many disabled people are employed. I donβt know how they are going to report as the actual number of disabled people in my last company was much higher than those actually registered with HR. This info was obtained by an anonymous survey
@Dmdav1 Also, I very much doubt that as a wheelchair user who transfers his chair to the passenger seat that I would be able to get a normal lease car with hand controls. I would though like to be proved wrong.
@HeatherMassey2@Dis_PPL_Protest@MotabilityOps Just did a rough calculation, if you commute 20 miles each way for a job and you working a full year of 252 days, this results in an annual mileage of 10,080 miles a year. So it is ridiculous, especially as the DWP state that you should accept jobs that are a 90 minute commute.
@Christiane Hi Christine, mine was put in by the developers as my flat is a new build. They used Symphony units which are not too bad - https://t.co/46xKDHS4yi If I had had the money I would probably have gone to this chap to do my kitchen

@ComradeRedJimmy@MikScarlet As a wheelie user who transfers his chair to the passenger seat, a two door car would be ideal as the door apertures are bigger. There. are only two door minis or fiat 500βs on the scheme. A bigger two door coupe would be ideal, but due to external pressures these are not allowed
@flowergirl_lon Yes, I saw the other tweet as well. I hope the Met Police investigation is successful. I have flown BA in the past and have found them excellent. As for going back to Malta, it isnβt on my bucket list for a return trip.
@flowergirl_lon Hi Sam, the exact thing happened to me many years ago with a solid frame chair at Malta airport. They must have thrown it off the plane and the front wheel snapped off. This was with Malta Air. Luckily the hertz rentacar people knew of a welder and it was attached the next day.
@Chuffin_ell Did I read it rightly, that you can register with Nimbus for free but not take up the option of a card, but then venues want sight of your card, so you are in a catch-22?
