“Black Girls Belong In Space: Pt. 1 -2022”
This piece is to let black girls know that they belong in spaces that they aren’t often seen and underrepresented.
Black girl you belong!
Eva Mireles was a wife, mother, and 4th grade educator at Robb Elementary School. She enjoyed hiking and running. She was killed trying to protect her student in the tragic #Uvalde shooting. #SayHerName
“Free The Homies” w/ Solstice
I collaborated with Solstice to design a pack of pre-rolls to benefit @lastprisonerprj focusing on cannabis justice.
I was deeply inspired by Allen Russell’s story. Allen received a life sentence for only possessing 30 grams of cannabis.
Stories like Allen’s happen far too often and it disproportionately effects people of color. Black people are 4x more likely to be convicted of cannabis related crimes than our white counterparts.
We can’t stop until all of the homies are free. This is a movement.
My “Free The Homies” pre-rolls w/ @solsticegrown are now live in The Reef on Cap Hill in Seattle
Proceeds will go to @lastprisonerprj , a 501(c)(3) advocating for cannabis criminal justice reform
