So, I'm just going to say... if #NASCAR is looking at possible changes to the 2027 rule book... I think they should seriously consider changing the way the starting lineup is set when qualifying is rained out.

The metric is nice in theory, but in a Chase style championship fight, where Stage Points are critical, a bad last race compounds even further the following week. It's like being penalized twice for a rough day.

And this is how the lineup has now been set in three of the four Chase races so far... Unreal.
