@TfL hello, I’ve tried calling your helpline several times for help with contactless payments (the website won’t let me register my card), and I keep getting a message saying “due to unforeseen circumstances we’re unable to take your call”. When will the helpline be back? Thanks
@TfL hello, I’ve been trying to access my account all morning but I’m not receiving the confirmation text/code (it was working fine yesterday). Do you know if there’s a temporary glitch?
@daisychandley Highly unoriginal but reading Eve Babitz’s Black Swans during a summer holiday was such a joyful experience for me. I’ll go ahead and borrow everyone’s book recs in this thread too!
If Twitter crashes and you need to find me, the hell you will. I've got a two day head start on you, which is more than I need. I speak a dozen languages, know every local custom, I'll blend in, disappear, you'll never see me again.
@SocEcoOntario Bonjour! J'ai cherché à vous contacter cet été en passant par le formulaire contact de votre site mais je n'ai eu aucun retour. Avez-vous une adresse email pour vous contacter? Merci :)
I’ve read 62 books (?!) so far this year and this one is very firmly in my top 3. Incredible voice and writing.
(@TishDelaney2’s previous book is also a delight, in case you’re wondering!)
Come & work with us @LeedsArtGallery We’ve a vacancy for Digital Community Curator (freelance) A lot of the project will be online so may be a good role for those with other commitments/who need to work from home. Must be passionate about digital, communities & broadening access.
@AJulerCons@RussellDornan Have you tried volunteering and doing a few free internships to show you’re passionate about the sector? I hear it really helps you get ahead of the other applicants.
Oh wait.
@supernowoczesna @QueanErrant to bluntly tell them to kindly F off (unlike the British ‘let’s pretend all is shiny and not ruffle feathers’ of my experience). But obv that’s my v limited experience.
@supernowoczesna @QueanErrant Hiiiiiii! Ok disclaimer: I’ve only watched UK Criminal and haven’t actually worked in France for about 15y. But from what I gather via friends/family the main diff (from the UK) at least is people are blunter - they might make more not-ok comments, but it’s much more acceptable
