Russian peacekeepers are now positioned on a height adjacent to Azerbaijani armed forces who illegally advanced their position along the Stepanakert-Ghaibalishen-Lisagor road.
Peacekeepers are negotiating w/ the Azerbaijani side to ensure a return to their starting position.
As stated by Artsakh officials, road in question is used for the organization of civil and urgent communication between the four communities of Stepanakert and Shushi region. 2/2
Today, under false pretenses of ammunition transport, Azerbaijan’s armed forces violated the line of contact established by the Nov 2020 tripartite agreement, making positional advancements in the Shushi-Lisagor area in Artsakh. 1/2
But Azerbaijan has once again spread disinformation that the road is being used to transport weapons & ammunition to mislead the international community & prepare falsified grounds for further provocations against the civilian population of Artsakh. 2/2
Artsakh officials have presented clear evidence that improvements to the Stepanakert-Ghaibalishen-Lisagor road, a dangerous mountain route, are to ensure safe access from communities in the Shushi region (Lisagor, Yeghtsahogh, Hin Shen & Mets Shen) to the capital of Artsakh. 1/2
Disinformation Alert: The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has once again spread disinformation that on March 15 shots were fired on Azerbaijani positions located in occupied territories of the Askeran & Martuni in the Republic of Artsakh. This is false & blatant disinformation.

Today between 19:10-19:40, Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire in the northern direction of the contact line.
There were no casualties on the Armenian side & the violation was reported to the command of Russian peacekeepers.
The situation is now relatively stable.
