@teacher_tucson One of my favorite teachers was my high school woodshop teacher. He really helped me learn to think out the step-by-step process of doing things and to find efficient ways to solve problems. I learned a lot more math in that class than I did in many of my math classes.
@KaceyStegall This article is great! One thing I've really enjoyed in the education classes here at BYUH is how much emphasis is put into teaching us to incorporate these methods in our future classrooms.
@jeeemeeeneee This is an awesome method! I grew up in Alaska I loved it when any class took us outside! It also allowed for more authentic learning; for example, in the science classes we were out doing stuff rather than just reading or watching videos about it.
These were definitely some of my favorite books in early elementary school! I loved animals and drawing pictures so having a book that had such fun drawings made learning to read so much more enjoyable for me. What are some of the earliest books you all remember reading? #byuh305
@teacher_tucson Honestly one of the biggest things for me has been finding ways to spend less time online, like this semester I bought the physical copy of all my textbooks instead of using the online versions.
