📊 En el ensayo VITAL (1.054 adultos ≥50 años), tomar 2.000 UI/día de vitamina D3 durante 4 años redujo el acortamiento telomérico en 140 pares de bases (p=0.039),
🟰 lo que equivale a ~3 años menos de envejecimiento celular.

🔬 Mecanismo: ↑ telomerasa, ↓ daño al ADN e inflamación (vía receptor de vitamina D).

✅ Niveles óptimos: 40–60 ng/mL de 25(OH)D.
