Did the pre Rgvedic king Mandhāta triggered the first wave of Out of India Migration?

A correction to Heggarty's Indo European (IE) Migration Theory.

One of the most striking things happens when we take the PIE homeland not in Anatolia or the Steppe, but in Northwest India, and then re-read the 2023 Heggarty et al. Paper on Indo-European divergence.

The entire branching timeline suddenly aligns point-for-point with Vedic historical memory, especially when we insert the two most ancient datable events preserved in our texts:

1. Manthāta ~ 3500 BCE (optimal)

2. Dasarājña Battle ~3065–3165 BCE

These two anchors fit into the Heggarty divergence waves with mathematical precision, if NW India is the homeland.

Present is taken as 2000 CE for convenient BCE conversion.

Here is the sequence:

1. 6000–5200 BCE: First deep split in IE language family (Anatolian/Hittite)

Heggarty’s earliest divergence aligns with the oldest east–west tribal dissociations predating all Rigvedic memory.

2. 5000–4200 BCE: Second deep split (Tocharian)

This corresponds to the northeast-bound movements long before the early Vedic horizon.

3. ~4800 BCE: Proto–Indo-Iranian divergence.

Vedic language cannot be older than this date.

This is the linguistic ceiling for all Vedic kings and Vedic Culture and Vedic Civilization.

No Vedic figure can predate this.
It is the upper bound for Manthāta.

4. 4200–3500 BCE: Western IE cluster divergence (Italo-Celtic, Germanic, Balto-Slavic)

In an Out-of-India mapping, this identifies the Druhyu-associated westward expansions.

Exactly here sits Manthāta (~4200-3500 BCE).

His expulsion of the Druhyus is the oldest preserved historical memory of the very population-stream that later becomes the western IE branches in Heggarty’s model.

This is the first time textual memory and phylogenetic dates converge this cleanly.

5. 3300 BCE: Beginning of Early Rigvedic memory

Post-Manthāta, pre-Sudās.

6. 3200–3000 BCE: Later differentiation waves in Heggarty’s model

The tree shows continuing internal diversification in the late 3rd millennium BCE.

Exactly here sits the Dasarājña Battle (3065–3165 BCE).

The battle marks the next major demographic and political restructuring within the Vedic heartland, the same window in which Heggarty detects later branch refinements.

The Rgveda preserves the lived history behind those splits.

The implications are direct and unavoidable:

When NW India is taken as the PIE homeland, Heggarty’s divergence sequence and the Vedic historical sequence reinforce each other.

Manthāta (~3500 BCE) and the Dasarājña (~3100 BCE) fall precisely into the predicted windows of the third and fourth Indo-European dispersal waves.

No other civilisation on earth preserves these events with this level of genealogical and chronological clarity.

This is the strongest alignment yet between linguistic phylogeny and Vedic historical memory and it puts Northwest India firmly at the centre of the Indo-European story.

I am feeling deeply depressed today. The brutal annihilation of the entire Ganesh Chakraborty family is horrifying & yet, so far, not a single liberal, human-rights activist, or leftist has raised their voice in support of Hindus in Bangladesh.

His daughter was due to be married in just a few days. She was allegedly brutally raped, her eyes were gouged out, and acid was poured on her face. The sheer hatred and brutality directed against Hindus is deeply disturbing.

His wife too was raped and subjected to horrific torture. His 12-year-old son was forcibly circumcised. Ganesh himself was brutally killed.

Their only “crime” was that they were Hindus.

What makes this horror even more disturbing is the alleged treatment of the bodies after the killings—acid was reportedly poured over their faces before the bodies were dumped at the foot of the stairs.

The complete destruction of an entire Hindu family cannot simply be dismissed as an ordinary crime. If these reports are established, this would be a horrifying indictment of law and order, minority protection, and the failure of society to protect innocent human beings from communal violence.

Where are the voices that so loudly speak about human rights when the victims are Hindu?

Human rights cannot be selective. Outrage cannot depend on the religion of the victim. If you remain silent when an entire family is allegedly brutalised and killed because they are Hindu, that silence is not neutrality—it is hypocrisy.
