If you still think Pakistan was behind the Pahalgam and Amritsar attacks, you’re either blind or brainwashed. Pakistan would never target Kashmiris or Sikhs, these are Modi’s dirty games, staged to win votes and fuel hate. The blood spilled is his ticket to power.
The similarity between yesterday's massacre and the Amritsar massacre is uncanny. Back then, people protested and were killed for the same reason as yesterday: opposing a law (Rowlatt Act) that allowed the British government to arrest individuals without trial or evidence. This was a deliberate strategy to suppress the growing nationalist movement in India, preventing protests and demands for justice while attempting to stifle the revolution.
Today, people protested for a similar reason: to ask for their rights. Although we achieved independence then, we remained mental slaves to colonial legacies—a truth painfully evident in the incidents we witnessed. The government’s tactics today are eerily similar to those used during the British Raj.
The Jallianwala Bagh massacre was a turning point in subcontinent's struggle for independence, sparking a revolution that only grew stronger. Yesterday’s massacre, too, will become a turning point in the fight for haqeeqi azaadi. The rebellion will only grow now; there is no going back now.
Violence will only breed more violence, and this trajectory will lead to a civil war. The revolution in Pakistan may not happen today, but it will happen—perhaps in the next 10 years, 20 years or more—but it is bound to happen.
History is repeating itself, but many fail to see it. There were people back then who mocked the protests, claiming they were futile. They believed we could never rid ourselves of the British Raj. But the events of 1947 proved them wrong. This time will be no different.
Allah al Haq hai. “Your Lord did not abandon you, nor did He forget.”
